Philippe Chow (Nashville, TN)
Philippe Chow combines traditional Chinese aesthetics and modern opulence to create an elevated space in Nashville. The building’s structural columns throughout the space were reworked to show gleaming gold details and mirrored tiles, which, when combined with linear lighting, provide art deco aesthetics.
Guests are guided through one of the dining rooms and bars by a 40-foot gingko tree light fixture. In Chinese culture, the gingko tree represents endurance and good fortune. To ensure a tactile, visual experience, design and lighting come together in the space and also distinguish it from other Philippe Chow restaurants.
